Santa's grotto will again take the shape of a magical sleigh filled with sparkling presents pulled by giant glittering reindeer!
Santa’s arrives with a spectacular Christmas show in Canary Wharf's East Wintergarden! Free tickets should be pre-booked from early November at www.mycanarywharf.com.
Santa's arrival also marks the start of a programme of free festive activities throughout the shopping malls.
Children can come and visit Santa every weekend until Christmas and receive a gift.
Each visit costs £1.00 with all proceeds donated to Richard House Children’s Hospice.

Come and meet Father Christmas in his secret Victorian grotto in 19th century Sailortown. Tell him about your seasonal hopes and dreams then take home a special gift to kick off the festivities. There will also be a chance to have your photo taken with the man in red himself, which will be mounted as a festive keepsake to remember your visit.

Join in the festive fun at our spectacular annual Christmas Parade on Saturday 7th November. This year sees Harrods celebrating the 24th anniversary of the famous event.
The annual Christmas Parade, precedes the Grotto opening. As usual, you can expect a show-stopping performance from an array of entertainers – and this year a Wizard of Oz theme adds to the excitement. Father Christmas will arrive in his horse-drawn carriage before taking residence in the Grotto.
Schedule of events
08.00 Entertainment starts in Basil Street behind the store, with clowns, musicians and complimentary refreshments. The Parade sets off along Brompton Road, turning left down Hans Road.
08.25 The Parade turns from Hans Road into the prime viewing area of Basil Street ending with Father Christmas in his open-top carriage.
08.50 Father Christmas is welcomed to the store by the Harrods Chairman, Mohamed Al Fayed.
09.00 The store opens for business.
10.00 Father Christmas takes up residence, ready to greet his young friends.
Christmas Grotto
The new Christmas Grotto booking service enables you to reserve a specific time slot for your Grotto visit, so you shouldn't have to wait for more than 30 minutes. Tickets are available to book from 22nd September. Please note that all adults and children require tickets to enter the Grotto.
Tickets are free of charge with an administration fee of £5 per booking. This will be re-credited to your Rewards card and available to spend in Harrods on the day you visit the Grotto.

Marylebone High Street will be transformed into a winter wonderland with street performers, carols, a grotto and more on Wednesday 18th November 2009.
For an extra special treat Father Christmas will be taking time out from his busy schedule to hand out presents from his grotto from 16.00 onwards. Make the most of the chance to see Santa by the glow of some of the most impressive lights in London, on Marylebone High Street.

Join in at the Rainforest Cafe from 21st November for a festive treat for the whole family and a visit to Santa Claus' Grotto!
Our new attraction will delight the younger guests and be a wonderful cost effective day out for the family.
Children will be amazed by the frozen rainforest, Santa and his elves, whilst parents can take advantage of the meet & greet package. This includes a meal for the whole family, fantastic Christmas gifts for the children and plenty of time with Santa, without the endless shopping centre queues.
Price for the grotto is £35 per person, if booked before 1st December. Adult ticket includes the Christmas 3-course menu and child ticket includes a 2-course children's menu, a soft drink, visit to Santa's Grotto and a fantastic early Christmas present.
Santa's Grotto at Rainforest Cafe is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy a festive day out as well as a chance to meet Santa Claus.
Rainforest Cafe Grotto is running from 21st November until 13th December every Saturday and Sunday, then everyday from 18th December until 24th December.

The 2009 Christmas Grotto has a winter wonderland theme with polar bear and penguin animatronics.
Santa's Grotto, opens on 21st November, and is located on the lower ground floor. Tickets are available to buy from October.
The grotto will be open between 21st November until 24th December and will be bookable via an online service at www.selfridges.com.
Tickets are £2.00 per child and / or adult and booking on the website in advance will ensure you avoid the queues and are guaranteed to see Father Christmas. If you simply turn up on the day access will be free, however, on busy days queues will be long and there will be no guarantee to gain access.
