Don't forget that each year Royal Mail produces Christmas themed stamps, available from your local post office.

Christmas 2009 Stamp Set
The stamps show the Madonna and Child (1st Class), an Angel (2nd Class), Joseph (56p), a Wise Man (90p) and a Shepherd (£1.35). As with previous Christmas issues, the stamps are in standard definitive size, except for the 1st and 2nd Class Large stamps, where the 1st and 2nd Class images are repeated on the larger format stamps.

Christmas 2009 First Day Cover
The First Day Cover envelope was designed by Russell Warren-Fisher. The envelope is printed by Dobson and Crowther Ltd. The filler card designed by Russell Warren-Fisher contains information about stained glass windows by Maev Kennedy. It is printed by Fulmar Colour Printing Company Ltd.

Christmas Congestion Charge
Congestion Charge
The congestion charge does not apply on weekends or bank holidays, and since introduced, it has been suspended on the days between Christmas and New Year's Day.
