As the world waits for the birth of Christ we gather together in the middle of the night to celebrate the first Eucharist of Christmas. Carols for all and music from the Cathedral Choir announce the Christmas feast.

This simple spoken service only occurs on days when there is no choir in the Cathedral, such as during school holidays. To mark the Christmas season this service includes carols for the congregation to sing.

Evensong is the treasure of the worship here at St Paul’s. It is a service of sung Evening Prayer, taken from the Book of Common Prayer of 1662.
