Handel’s Messiah
An opportunity to hear Messiah in a refreshingly
different way; one voice per part. Bridget
Cunningham directs the Handel House
Harmonies as they perform excerpts from
Handel’s Messiah in the house where it was
composed in 1741.

Handel House Singers: Messiah
Join the Handel House Singers to work through
highlights from Messiah, concluding with a
public performance. The day will be led and
conducted by historical performance specialist
and distinguished harpsichordist Laurence
Cummings. Laurence will coach each vocal
section in the morning at Handel House and
then invite the whole choir to join him and
members from the Linden Baroque Orchestra
for a full rehearsal at Grosvenor Chapel at
3pm, followed by a public performance at
6pm. No auditions are required but participants
must be able to read music.
