London for Christmas

This year Teatime with Tiffany combines tea-dance music with live ice-dance displays and delicious treats. Children will be enchanted by Storytelling beside the Tiffany Christmas Tree. Improve your fitness with the Big Ice Dance lunchtime sessions. Experience the unique atmosphere of open-air clubbing, on and off the ice, to a soundtrack curated by prominent DJs, iconic clubs and trend-setting festivals at one of the Club Nights.

Whatever the time or occasion, the Somerset House Ice Rink is the ultimate London winter destination for everyone - skaters and spectators.

Club Nights
Experience the unique atmosphere of open-air clubbing, on and off the ice, to a live soundtrack from prominent DJs, iconic clubs and trend-setting festivals including Ministry of Sound, The Loose Cannons, Joey Negro, Lovebox and Snowbombing. Visit after work for a glass of mulled wine and stay on into the night, or make it a meeting place for friends to catch up over a cocktail before hitting the ice. Club Nights bring a new late night soundtrack to Skate at Somerset House.

Big Ice Dance Lunchtime Workouts
What better way to start the New Year and cast off your post-Christmas blues? Join English National Ballet dancers for a 20 minute ballet warm up off the ice to music from Strictly Gershwin; English National Ballet’s production celebrating George Gershwin and the sparkling age of Hollywood music and dance. Then join fellow skaters and our expert ice dance coach on the ice where you’ll learn to perform a skate routine to Strike up the Band.

Teatime with Tiffany
On Saturday afternoons in the lead up to Christmas, enjoy a Teatime with Tiffany skate session, accompanied by tea-dance music and live ice-dance displays, you can join in or just admire from afar. Followed by a free hot drink to warm you up, a Tiffany treat and a luxurious glass of champagne for the adults.
