A Ticket to the Frost Fair

Surely one of the most remarkable and scenic events ever to take place on the river, it is not surprising that the Thames Frost Fair attracted the attention of artisits. Jeremy Smith from London Metropolitan Archives will discuss some of the images that record these rare events and show how they can be used to understand the sheer thrill and spectacle of the ice fair.
