Get into the festive spirit and join us online for an evening unlike any other this year (and this time, we really mean it!).
Singing for Syrians is a campaign run by the Hands Up Foundation which raises money for Hands Up's aid projects in Syria.
We present our special Christmas Singing for Syrians evening, complete with a star-studded array of readers and soloists, including pianist Poppy Ackroyd, physician and poet Fouad M. Fouad, comedian Barry Humphries (aka Dame Edna), actress Helen McCrory, and author and playwright Michael Morpurgo. Despite the challenges of COVID, for us, doing nothing is not an option. The Syrians we support risk losing out entirely on education and health services if we do not raise enough funds to keep these going.
Our Singing for Syrians evening is a positive and uplifting way to respond. The money raised will go towards our school in Lebanon for Syrian refugee children, and our Primary Health Clinic in northern Syria. Please spread the word to your friends and family. This year, more than ever, we need your support.
The plan is to host the event virtually by streaming the evening directly to your homes. The concert will start at 6pm and will last 45-minutes max so please make sure you tune in just before.
